At Sprout Family Health, we’re dedicated to nurturing wellness with heart, warmth, and a touch of whimsy, making healthcare accessible, engaging, and effective for all.

About the Role: Speech and Language Pathologist (SLP)

As a Speech and Language Pathologist at Sprout Family Health, you’ll be part of a multidisciplinary team redefining family-centered proactive healthcare. Working alongside a team led by a Nurse Practitioner and supported by a Health Navigator (Registered Nurse), as well as specialists in physical, functional, and mental health, you’ll deliver personalized, holistic care that supports the health and wellness goals of our families.

In this role, you’ll support children and adults in building and enhancing their communication, language, and speech abilities through thorough assessments, goal-focused intervention, and close collaboration within the care team. You’ll address areas ranging from speech and language challenges to social communication and cognitive-communication needs, empowering members to express themselves confidently in all areas of life. Additionally, your work may involve addressing broader developmental and neurodiverse needs in partnership with other specialists, ensuring every member receives personalized, comprehensive support.

Our team-based model emphasizes early intervention, seamless access to care, and equipping families with the knowledge and tools they need for lasting health. You’ll contribute to individualized care pathways that include in-depth assessments, self-management education, and referrals for ongoing therapy as necessary. If you’re passionate about making a difference in the lives of young families and thrive in a collaborative, proactive healthcare environment, we’d love to hear from you!

This is a permanent, part-time, contract role which is primarily virtual and occasionally requires commuting to our clinic in James Bay, Victoria BC.
